The Setup:
In early 2000, Bard Quillman bought “Old Vine Wine & Spirits” on Highway 96 and loved every minute of translating his passion into a business and planning the store’s move to a new development off Highway 96 and Royal Oaks Blvd. Ten years later, Bard and his daughter (now marketing director) Lisa, were ready to breathe new life into the Red Dog brand. The Quillmans identified JLB as the design firm that would be the perfect fit to take Red Dog’s corporate identity and online marketing to the next level.
JLB’s Solution:
After spending months getting to know the store, the staff, and the personality of “Red Dog,” Team JLB embarked on an overhaul of the Red Dog logo and accompanying branding components. From logo to business cards to letterhead and beyond — JLB has designed every piece of marketing collateral for the beloved wine and spirits store, including all in-store signage, exterior signage, wine tags, hang tags, labels, and packaging. Once we’d helped Red Dog make this leap, we’ve focused our attentions on the Red Dog website — which has been given a major update as well. In addition, all online marketing components (banner ads and the like) follow the newly established brand design and guidelines.
Deliverables:
- identity development & branding
- graphic design & marketing collateral
- copywriting
- website graphic design
- website engineering (html, css, php)
- website content management system
- e-mail marketing
