A Franklin original – Philanthropy opened its doors in 2007 on Main Street. In many ways, it was an overnight success.
Operating with the belief that a business built around charitable works and grounded in Christ could make a difference in the world, Philanthropy delivers a platform for its customers to contribute. It is a Christian, locally owned and operated – one of a kind shopping experience that gives 10% of all sales to designated causes, while keeping its customers “consciously and compassionately stylish.”
Since its inception, Philanthropy has utilized one firm to handle its online presence – JLB. We’ve had the honor to provide an online vehicle for the Philanthropy brand to deliver news, information, and product to its loyal (and ever-growing) customer base. Philanthropy’s brand is unique and distinct, and JLB has sought to create website graphic designs layered with rich textures and warm colors.
At each turn, our goal has been to design something online that “feels” like the Main Street store, itself. Along the way, Philanthropy asked our Creative Director, Micah Jones, to redesign its logo and overall graphic identity (check out the first frame, above). In 2011, JLB updated Philanthropy’s website design and engineering, and in 2012 year we are unveiling a new, improved shopping cart experience.
