The Setup:
The Heritage Foundation of Franklin and Williamson County is “dedicated to protecting and preserving our historic resources” and has been doing so for the past 32 years. As one of the most prominent, successful organizations in the area, The Heritage Foundation is perhaps best known for its influential preservation campaigns in Historic Downtown Franklin, most recently the successful multi-million dollar “Save the Theatre” campaign. In early 2010, the Heritage Foundation hired JLB to re-build the centerpiece of its communications strategy — its website.
JLB’s Solution:
For an organization of this stature, the Team at JLB knew we had to do something special. We started with a new graphic design that upheld and reinforced The Heritage Foundation’s renown branding. Then we engineered a site based on a strict CSS layout that operated on PHP coding within a robust CMS (content management system). We tied key pages into the organization’s e-mail marketing account, and we even set up the initial pages for The Next Generation (the Heritage Foundation’s 21-40 year-old group). Last, but not least, we deployed and customized up an easy-to-use shopping cart for product purchases and ticket sales. The result? A beautiful website with easy-to-access (and easy-to-update) content…

Comments:
“The Heritage Foundation of Franklin and Williamson County and the Downtown Franklin Association have used JLB to create three websites and three email marketing accounts. We are constantly receiving positive comments from our members and the general public about our websites. They are beautiful and easy to navigate for our staff, enabling us to update our information constantly which is essential to our mission of historic preservation and revitalization of downtown Franklin.”
