John Crain  Web Developer

The Architect  logical precision

Quiet, thoughtful and deliberate. John attacks web development with a sense of purpose and passion. It’s a trait you have to be born with to fully comprehend.

Everything John has learned, every skill he has acquired, has been won the “old fashioned way.” An engineer to the core, John understands the nuances of HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL and JavaScript. Every good design firm needs someone who can take the vision of a graphic design and breathe life into it on the Web. John is that man at JLB. And if he’s not developing the pages himself, then he’s directing the other code monkeys on our staff.

An avid motorcycle enthusiast, John’s the kind of person who can take an engine apart and re-build it (without any instructions). He collects and sells motorcycles as a hobby. He also climbs rocks (in gyms and on the sides of mountains) in his free time. He says rock climbing is akin to web development — keeping your eyes on target, looking out for the best holds, and being able to change routes mid-climb. Finding paths where none exist and building something out of nothing? … Critical thinking skills important for any Architect.
