David Syler  Dynamic Programmer

The Relief Pitcher  good in the clutch

Every team needs a clutch player. At JLB, David Syler is the one we call from the bullpen when bases are loaded and we need to throw some strikes.

A true programmer’s programmer, David has been “in the biz” for 15 years. He is that rare talent who not only can program a web page to interact with a database (PHP meet MySQL), but he also can set up the box and dismantle it – with his bare hands. Whether it’s a Mac, a PC or an Apache server, David knows how to take it all apart and put it back together again. He understands networks, processors and the software that binds them.

David also knows his way backwards and forwards around his bass guitar, and he has two electrics, one acoustic, a full drum set (including a cowbell), a Yamaha keyboard, a harmonica, and a pink ukulele. He likes to mix it up with his sometime band every chance he gets. A happily married father of two daughters (and a new puppy, Choxie, also a girl), David finds himself outnumbered on a daily basis. Good thing he performs his best under pressure – just what you need in a Relief Pitcher.
