Google goes biblical?
Not that it’s entirely common to have duplicate content displayed on differing pages of a website (I’m not talking a paragraph or two; I mean from start to finish), but sometimes it just happens. Since there’s really no point in have both these pages indexed (and who knows, depending on how the Google engineers are feeling that day, they could dock you SEO gold-stars), the goal is only have one search engines crawl one of the duplicate pages. Up until now, making an exception in the robots.txt was the best way to accomplish this.
