A Vintage Affair
nonprofit, raising money for several area organizations
Three years ago, Ralph Drury, Executive Director of A Vintage Affair, approached JLB WORKS and asked to establish a partnership. JLB would provide the Web site design, maintenance and statistical analysis at a significantly reduced price, and AVA would recognize the value and importance of those services with an appropriate sponsorship level.
Fast-forward to 2008, and AVA has been through three iterations of site design and layout. The latest version of this site capitalizes on a firm foundation rooted in CSS/HTML programming.
A couple new wrinkles: Well-placed Flash movies, user-controlled slideshow presentation of party pics, and a simple Content Management System (CMS) rooted in TextPattern for verbiage changes on the fly.
