Like most developers, I’m always looking for ways to minimize the applications I’ve got running during the initial build-out of a site. Viewing all my open windows in Exposé looks like I’m beginning a game of Mahjong!
Enter PXtoEM…
While this nice little tool won’t completely solve my problem, it will keep me from having to open my calculator to EM conversions and it also gives you a hefty enough list of multiplications from the get-go.
Using PXtoEM is a piece of cake… only the people who still use <font> and <b> tags would need an in-depth tutorial.
If simply converting pixels to em isn’t enough awesomeness, the site will also output generated Blueprint-based CSS for most of your type!
